Behavior
The anadromous migratory ecotype of the brown trout. Life begins in rivers; juveniles spend 1-5 years in freshwater before migrating to sea to grow, then return to freshwater to spawn once mature.
Features
Grows larger and turns silvery after entering the sea. The flesh is pink.
Distribution
Found along European coasts and their rivers. In Germany along the North Sea and Baltic coasts and their tributaries.
